A perfect starting point for your mountain hike
Smuksjøseter is a modern mountain lodge with shower, WC and broadband in every rooms. We also have a new addition with eleven rental apartments, all with kitchen, refrigerator, dishwasher and TV.
The largest apartments have a communal kitchen as well, and some of the apartments have a fireplace, balcony, spa bath and sauna.
We also offer a new and unique option –Arctic Dome Rondane - a unique experience at the border of Rondane National Park.
Rooms
All rooms at Smuksjøseter overlook the lake or the mountains and have a private bathroom with a bath or shower. You can also use the sauna, the terrace, the TV room and the barbecue.
Apartments
We have six apartments on the ground floor of the lodge, all overlooking Lake Smuksjøen. Each apartment is approximately 23 square meters and can accommodate two people. Private sleeping area, living room with TV, small kitchenette with dishwasher and tiled bathroom.
Kvannslådalsbu / Rundhaugbu
Apartment with nice view over Lake Smuksjøen. About 23 square meters with space for two people. Sleeping alcove, living room with TV, small kitchenette with dishwasher, tiled bathroom, and balcony. Double door to the large apartment.
Uløybu
Bright and nice apartment overlooking Lake Smuksjøen. About 32 square meters with space for two people. One bedroom, living room with TV, small kitchenette with dishwasher, tiled bathroom, and balcony.
Ljosåbu / Garwaghbu
Large and nice apartment overlooking Lake Smuksjøen. About 70 square meters with space for 2-6 people. Living room with fireplace and TV, large well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom and loft. Large tiled bathroom with sauna and massage bath, and balcony. Can be opened with double door to the neighboring apartment.
Aurora Hut Rondane
Aurora hut is idyllically located, surrounded by the majestic mountains of Rondane. Here you can experience luxurious glamping in the middle of nature.
